2019. IX. 30. Most mi a bánatot csináljak? Ezek mind elbuktak. Ahogy Orbán is fog.' (Forrás: gyurcsanyf): https://tinyurl.com/yx95coor

2019. IX. 24. A Szögi család ügyvédje a megítélt kártérítésről értesítette a végrehajtót, aki zároltatta a lincselő büntetés-végrehajtási számláját.

2019. IX. 22. Meghalt Sára filmrendező. A magyar filmtörténet – és Sára nemzedéke – számára a Balázs Béla Stúdió 1960-61-ben kiteljesedett „kivételes időszaka” hozott mind tartalmi, mind formai tekintetben gyökeres fordulatot. A politikai propagandával átitatott művek helyett saját személyes élményeiket akarták megjeleníteni a filmvásznon, a legjobb magyar hagyományokat a világon akkor tért hódító modern filmművészet eszközeivel ötvözve. Korszakos jelentőségű filmek új és erőteljes képi világot, kompozíciós módszereket teremtő operatőre lett (Sodrásban, Gyerekbetegségek, Apa, Tízezer nap, Szindbád). Rendezőként első játékfilmje a Feldobott kő című önéletrajzi ihletésű film volt. Sára és Csoóri közös nagyszabású történelmi vízióit, terveit az 1978-as 80 huszár megvalósítása szimbolizálja. A nyolcvanas évek ma már felbecsülhetetlen forrásértékű tanúságtevőket megszólaltató dokumentumfilmes irányzatának a megteremtője. 1993 és 2000 között a Duna Televízió elnöke. Valódi közszolgálati, kulturális televíziót épített föl munkatársaival. 1999-ben az UNESCO a csatornának ítélte a Világ legjobb kulturális televíziója címet. Szoros együttműködést valósított meg a Duna Televízió és a dokumentumfilmeket gyártó Dunatáj Alapítvány között, és ő hívta életre 1995-ben a fiatal filmesek számára filmkészítési lehetőséget biztosító Duna Műhelyt. A Kossuth-díjat 1978-ban, a Balázs Béla-díjat 1968-ban vehette át, 2002-ben kapta meg a Magyar Köztársaság Érdemrend középkeresztje a csillaggal kitüntetést, 2003-ban a Gulág-emlékérmet, 2004-ben a Hazám-díjat, 2005-ben a Magyar Mozgókép Mestere címet és a Prima-díjat, 2012-ben a magyar filmkritikusok életműdíját. 1974-ben érdemes művész, 1987-ben kiváló művész, 2014-ben a nemzet művésze lett. Budapestig. Orbán szintén a kínaiakra támaszkodik a Budapest–Kolozsvár vasútvonal megvalósításában is.

September 26, 2019 The third EKS, or Tundra, early warning satellite. A Russian military satellite designed to detect missile launches arrived in orbit today following a successful liftoff aboard a Soyuz rocket from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Its elliptical orbit inclined 63.8 degrees to the equator, with altitudes ranging from around 1,645 kilometers to 38,536 kilometers above Earth. The egg-shaped, or Molniya-type, orbit matches the orbits of the first two EKS-class early warning satellites launched on Soyuz/Fregat rockets in November 2015 and May 2017. They replace Russia’s Oko series of missile warning spacecraft, the last of which launched in 2012. The spacecraft’s thermal infrared sensors long views over the northern hemisphere on each 12-hour loop around Earth. The orbits provide the satellites the ability to detect missile launches from North America, and detect incoming missiles that threaten Russian territory. (Source: SpaceFightNow)

Thunberg a 15 éves diáklány 2018-ban néhány hét alatt világhírű klímaaktivista lett, miután iskolai sztrájkot hirdetett a klímavédelemért. „Felfedezője” néhány hónap alatt 10 milliós haszonra tett szert a lány nevének köszönhetően. Rentzhog ismertette meg a világgal 2018 augusztus 20-án, amikor közösségi oldalain közzétette a klíma-harcot egyedül vállaló lány képét. Rentzhog elismert PR szakember, 2017-ben alapította cégét, a We Don't Have Time közösségi média platformot. We don't have time tanácsadói testületének a november 27-i részvénykibocsátáskor.

September 29, 2019 Biden joined Burisma less than two months after U.K. authorities opened money-laundering investigation. At the time, Zlochevsky’s ownership of the company was not widely known. Bringing aboard a son of the U.S. vice president was part of a broad effort by Burisma to burnish its credentials that had started before the 2014 uprising. The company tapped Apter, an investment banker who has worked in the United States and Europe, as its board chairman, and the former president of Poland as a board member. The addition of prominent Americans and Europeans to the company’s board in the weeks after Kiev’s dramatic change in government sent a message internally in Ukraine that Zlochevsky had access to powerful people in the West, according to Bullough, who wrote about Zlochevsky in “Moneyland,” his book on tax havens and shell companies. Burisma got licenses to extract gas in Ukraine through very suspicious means, look like a Western, legitimate company. Such “whitewashing” was a common tactic for tycoons and officials who are looking to legitimize assets of questionable origin. Burisma also began emphasizing that its gas production would reduce Ukraine’s reliance on Russian energy, an argument that appealed to Washington, where the company began donating to the think tank the Atlantic Council. During Ukraine’s political upheaval in 2014, the Yale Law graduate Biden jr. was the unpaid chairman of the board of World Food Program USA, a partner in an investment firm called Rosemont Seneca and a counsel for the New York law firm Boies Schiller Flexner. He told earlier this year that he joined the company at the urging of another board member, the former president of Poland, Kwasniewski; they shared a belief that Ukrainian energy independence was critical to rebuffing Russian President Putin. A month before Biden joined Burisma’s board, his father traveled to Ukraine as vice president and announced an aid package designed to enable Ukraine to boost its energy production. Biden brought knowledge of international politics to the board, which met twice a year. His decision entangled him in a country that Transparency International had ranked among the world’s most corrupt, a place where business executives have co-opted prosecutors and manipulated the courts to enhance their financial interests. This May, just after Biden launched his presidential bid, Biden jr. decided not to serve another term on Burisma’s board. Zlochevsky remained in the crosshairs of authorities in Ukraine. By 2015, prosecutors had opened two probes into the former ecology minister - one into claims of unlawful enrichment and the other into alleged abuse of power, forgery and embezzlement. By 2015 journalists in Ukraine were documenting the enormous wealth enjoyed by former government officials such as Zlochevsky, at one point flying drones to film two side-by-side mansions outside Kiev registered to his family and associates. His daughter promoted a new luxury store in Kiev named Zlocci - a play on his surname - that was offering crocodile, alligator and ostrich shoes as Ukrainians faced a biting recession. Much of the ire about corruption focused on Prosecutor General Shokin, who U.S. and European officials believed was not sufficiently aggressive. Western aid was largely contingent on reform. During a 2015 speech before the Ukrainian parliament, vice-president Biden called for the country to root out corruption and said, “The Office of the General Prosecutor desperately needs reform.” Biden later recounted telling Poroshenko more bluntly that the United States would withhold a billion-dollar loan guarantee if action was not taken against Shokin. “I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’ ” Biden said during a 2018 speech before the Council on Foreign Relations. (Source: msn)

09. 29. 19. In October 2017, Pope Francis announced a Vatican synod on the Amazon region “to identify new paths for the evangelization of God’s people in that region.” One item among the 146 topics on the agenda listed in the 45-page working document is whether or not to allow married “viri probati” – men of proven virtue – to be ordained as priests for the purpose of delivering the big sacraments: baptism, confession, weddings and funerals, in far flung areas where no priests are present. The synod’s working document clearly suggests studying “the possibility of priestly ordination for elders, preferably Indigenous, respected and accepted by the community, even if they have an established and stable family.” At the moment, many of the 2.8 million mostly Catholic people who live in the Amazon region, which skirts Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Venezuela and Suriname, don't have access to ordained priests. If they want to baptize newborns or bury their dead they have either to wait until a traveling priest shows up, which could be once a month or longer. A phalanx of conservative Catholic clerics, led by American Cardinal Burke and a host of other traditionalists, are ready to demand the resignation of the pope if he signs off on such heretical matters. By allowing married men to become priests in remote areas, they fear, the church could pave the way to the abolition of celibacy. Their slippery slope concern is that next, ordained priests will be able to marry. Then, God knows what could happen, maybe even women would be allowed into the priesthood. German Cardinal Müller of Germany is vehement: he warns that it could actually cause a schism, leaving conservatives with no choice but to leave the church under Francis. (Source: TheDailyBeast)

27 September 2019 A strange but utterly terrifying weapon has been dubbed "rods from the God" and is based on the concept of creating man-made meteorites that can be guided towards the enemy. Instead of using rocks rods the size of telephone poles are deployed. These would be made out of tungsten - a rare metal that can stand the intense heat generated by entering Earth's atmosphere. One satellite fires the rods towards the Earth's atmosphere while the other steers them to a target on the ground. Reaching speeds of 7000mph they hit the ground with the force of a small nuclear weapon - but crucially creating no radiation fall out. Molten metal cannons. This intriguing idea is being developed by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It is called the Magneto Hydrodynamic Explosive Munition or MAHEM. This game changing rail-gun can fire a jet of molten metal, hurled through space at several hundred miles per second by the most powerful electromagnets ever built. The molten metal can then morph into an aerodynamic slug during flight and pierce through another spacecraft or satellite and a munition explodes inside. (Source: TheSun)
September 27, 2019 The first casualty of Pelosi's cause is almost certain to be the front-runner for the party nomination. Biden has already, this past week, fallen behind Sen. Sept 24, 2019 Impeachment inquiry poses risks for democrats as well as Trump. The Senate is firmly controlled by Republicans, who enjoy a 53-to-47 seat advantage in the chamber. The Constitution requires a two-thirds majority of the Senate to vote to convict - and expel from office - a president who has been impeached by the House, and it seems wildly implausible that a sufficient number of Republican senators would abandon the president. So it’s possible Democrats could walk into the kind of trap Republicans fell into when they took on Mr. Clinton: the ability to impeach in the House, a lack of votes in the Senate to drive out the president and a public that came to see impeachment as an overreach and a distraction. The net result then was that Democrats actually gained seats in the 1998 midterm election held amidst the impeachment process. After that, Mr. Gingrich stepped down from his position as speaker - and Mr. Clinton survived and went on to finish his second term on a rising tide of popularity. (Source: TheWallStreetJournal)

September 23, 2019 The story behind Biden's son, Ukraine and Trump's claims. In 2014, Then-Vice President Biden was at the forefront of American diplomatic efforts to support Ukraine’s government as it sought to fend off Russian aggression and root out corruption. And Biden’s son Hunter was hired by a Ukrainian gas company, named a paid board member of Burisma Holdings in April 2014. The company’s founder was a political ally of Yanukovych, Ukraine’s Russia-friendly president, who was driven out in February 2014 by mass protests. At the time, the company ran a natural gas extraction operation in Crimea, a Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia after Yanukovych was pushed from power. V. P. Biden in March 2016 pressured the Ukrainian government to fire its top prosecutor, Shokin, who had previously led an investigation into Burisma’s owner. On May 19, Trump claimed the former Ukrainian prosecutor “was after” Biden’s son and that was why the former vice president demanded he be fired. There is no evidence of this. (Source: AP)

September 30, 2019 Flu vaccine is a four-in-one or a three-in-one shot that protects against both influenza A viruses - H3N2 and H1N1 - and either both or one of the influenza B viruses, B/Victoria and B/Yamagata. The selections that officials made last week for the next Southern Hemisphere vaccine suggest that two of four viruses in the Northern Hemisphere vaccine that doctors and pharmacies are now pressing people to get may not be optimally protective this winter. Those two are influenza A/H3N2 and the influenza B/Victoria virus. It appears the virus that was ultimately selected is not the H3N2 that dominated during the Southern Hemisphere’s winter 2019 season. In recent years the H3N2 component has generally been the least effective part of the vaccine. If H3N2 viruses predominate this coming flu season, a vaccine mismatch could add to the severity of the season. (Source: StatNews)
September 24, 2019 Thunberg’s ascendancy to the forefront of environmental activism could end up being a major negative to the movement – and the environment. Previous generations of environmental activists by focusing on what people could do in their own personal lives to cut down on pollution, presided over an environmental movement that used to be much more bipartisan in America. The new focus on making environmentalism an angrier protest movement threatens to make the effort to protect the planet just another wedge issue that politicians often use to motivate their base of voters. Similar wedge issues like abortion and gun control have long shifted become tribal controversies with little chance of progress and compromise. Thunberg is angry. Lots of people are angry. But anger without doing something other than protesting and making speeches won’t protect the environment or do much else other than produce more anger. (Source: CNBC)

23 Sepember Teenage climate change activist Thunberg today opened the United Nations Climate Action Summit with an angry condemnation of world leaders for failing to take strong measures to combat climate change. The generations that have polluted the most have burdened her and her generation with the extreme impacts of climate change, she said. US president Trump did not give remarks but he listened to remarks by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Merkel announced Germany would double Germany's contribution to a U.N. fund to support less developed countries to combat climate change to 4 billion euros from 2 billion euros. Over the past year, Guterres has called for no new coal plants to be built after 2020, urged a phase-out of fossil fuel subsidies and asked countries to map out how to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. 14 nations representing a quarter of global emissions have signalled that they do not intend to revise current climate plans by 2020.
