2016. X. 13. A felújított miklósvári Kálnoky-kastély északi homlokzata alapján egy teljesen neoklasszicista épületnek tűnik. Kálnoky szerint innen egy tipikus 19. századi státuszépületnek néz ki, aminek az az üzenete, hogy befolyásom van. A nagy bejáratot külön is említi, ami az ízlésének, mint mondja, túl nagy is. A déli oldal sokkal játékosabb. A formák mellett enyhe színek is megjelennek, az okkersárga és szürke. Az eredeti festés pigmentjeit vizsgálva arra jutottak, hogy a szürkés részt szénnel, míg az okkersárgát vasoxiddal, rozsdával színezték. A felújításnál is ezt használtak. Kálnoky szerint az itt kibontakozó késő reneszánsz stílus most már egyedülálló Erdélyben. Az épület földszintjén múzeumot alakítanak ki. A 16-17. században az ilyen nagyobb épületek mindig ki voltak téve támadásoknak. Ezért építettek magasföldszintet, hogy a földből félig kinéző pincére lőrések kerüljenek, ahonnan sakkban tarthatták a támadókat. De az egész épületet úgy tervezték, hogy legalább egy-két hetet lehessen benne élni. Így például kút is van a pincében, amit még ma is használnak. És titkos szoba, rejtekhely is került az épületbe. 12 October 2016. Paris 2016: Scenes from the Apocalypse - African mass immigration ruins streets. The Paris you know or remember from adverts or brochures no longer exists. While no part of Paris looks like the romantic Cliches in Hollywood movies, some districts now resemble post-apocalyptic scenes of a dystopian thriller. This footage, taken with a hidden camera by an anonymous Frenchman in the Avenue de Flandres, 19th Arrondissement, near the Stalingrad Metro Station in Paris as well as areas in close proximity, shows the devastating effects of uncontrolled illegal mass immigration of young African males into Europe. This footage was taken by an anonymous Frenchmen after French police evacuated over 2000 illegal immigrants on the 16th of September. What was left behind was a trail of devastation. The migrants have since resettled there, the area looks like before - thousands of Africans live in tents and sleep on mattresses in the middle of the street as of October 16th. If no portable toilets are in reach, open urination and defecation are commonplace. Tens of thousands of homeless Illegal immigrants, undocumented or waiting for a decision of their asylum application, waste away trying to pass the time in the city. Although their prospects of being granted asylum as Africans are bleak, they're hoping for a decision that would grant them an apartment, welfare and make France their new home. The conditions are absolutely devastating. The police have given up trying to control these areas, the remaining French people avoid the areas at all cost, crime and rape is rampant, just recently mass brawls and riots made the news as fights broke out near the Stalingrad metro station. 19 October 2016 Russia has begun its biggest surface deployment from the Northern Fleet’s base near Murmansk and much of the Baltic Fleet since the end of the Cold War as it aims to effectively end the war in Syria on the eve of the US election, Nato officials warned. The Kremlin is sending the full might of its Northern Fleet led by the carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and part of the Baltic Fleet to reinforce a final assault on the city of Aleppo in a fortnight, according to Western intelligence. The final bombardment is designed to shore up the Assad regime by wiping out rebels – paving the way for a Russian exit from the civil war. The assault on the city will also serve to highlight US inaction in the run-up to election day and may aid Trump. Yesterday, ahead of this morning’s debate with Mrs. Clinton, his presidential campaign released a letter from defence experts backing plans to increase the size of the US military. An intensified air campaign by Russian forces in eastern Aleppo, where 275,000 people are trapped, would further worsen ties between Moscow and the West, which says the Kremlin may be responsible for war crimes. Mr Trump has consistently praised Mr Putin as a strong leader and has promised a closer relationship with Russia if he wins the Nov 8 US election. He has suggested that, if elected, he would meet the Russian president before the inauguration in January. Oct 14, 2016 Russia’s military announced it would run the country-wide drill in preparation of a large-scale war. The Kremlin also ordered nuclear capable missiles to be rolled into a base in mainland Europe, on an enclave near Poland called Kaliningrad. It comes as Russia vowed to shoot down any American fighter planes that attack President Assad's forces in Syria. Verbal jousting between the US, Britain and Russia over the issue of the ongoing bombardment of civilians in Syria are reaching a peak, with the very real possibility of genuine armed conflict between the nations taking place over the city of Aleppo. But Putin's latest ramping-up of tensions is simply a tactic to prevent the US from interfering in Syria and to put the incoming American President on the back foot when they take office next year. 2016-10-19 'A microcosm of China’s experience in Africa'. Beijing envisions the Maritime Silk Road as a vast international network of sea infrastructure aimed at securing its trade routes, ensuring the undisturbed travel of China-bound raw materials and energy vessels, as well as of its transformed products back to Europe through the Gulf of Aden. Since 2012-2013, Beijing has firmly taken roots in Djibouti through numerous multibillion infrastructure projects including a new port, two new airports, the recently completed Ethiopia-Djibouti railway, a bulk terminal (for potash) at Tadjourah, a salt extraction plant at Lake Assal, water, gas, and oil pipelines, and a liquefaction plant. Chinese investments, including the commissioning of the railway between Addis Ababa and Djibouti, will strengthen the position of Djibouti as Ethiopia’s number onechilogistics gateway. The establishment of China’s first overseas military installation will be located at Doraleh (next to the new port terminal) and Obock. In Africa nowhere else is this footprint so concentrated which affect a small population of 810,000 over 40 percent of whom is under the poverty line, the unemployment rate is catastrophic, over 60 percent and risk of famine is threatening almost 25 percent of the population. The dependence on China may strengthen the country’s debt, which could reach 80 percent in 2017. China has become the sole player able to cover the country’s financial needs. If Djibouti is unable to repay loans on time, infrastructure ownership will fall into Chinese hands, together with the income generated. The coming Chinese military presence with the naval base is bound to influence Djibouti’s foreign policy. Baghdadi orders men's wives and girlfriends to flee. Kurdish forces and elite Iraqi counter-terror troops began a lightning advance on the city. Leading US generals and French president Hollande say isis fighters are fleeing – and must be blocked from regrouping in nearby Raqqa. Many foreigners among the 3,000 to 4,500 isis fighters would likely end up forming the core of the holdout jihadist force. October 14, 2016 Turkey’s Incirlik airbase has supported America’s most vital strategic needs for more than a half century, first during the Cold War and more recently in the fight against terrorists. Now, as its host country becomes less stable and less friendly to the United States, the best way to ensure continued access to this large and well-located base is to prepare to do without it. In July, the Turkish government publicly accused the U.S. of backing a failed coup. More recently, Ankara pledged to deepen military cooperation with Russia, bombed U.S.-backed Syrian Kurdish units fighting isis, then complicated the war against isis by picking a fight with Baghdad over Mosul. After Defense Secretary Carter’s recent tense trip to Turkey, there is no better time for Washington to rethink its reliance on Incirlik. The sprawling air base and its U.S. presence there have long been a tangible symbol of Washington’s commitment to defend Turkey, yet there is a perception in Ankara that the United States needs its Turkish ally more than vice versa. This has been shown by the Turkish government’s willingness to use its geostrategic role - as a neighbor to war-torn Syria, as a host to U.S. forces — to put pressure on the United States. Even before the failed coup, the Turkish government appeared to act without fear of censure in either domestic or foreign affairs. At home, Turkey engaged in a broad crackdown on the press and freedom of speech. Regionally, it has repeatedly refrained from supporting, at best, or undermined, at worst, U.S. attempts to defeat isis. All this has been fueled by the belief — unfortunately, validated by the U.S. government — that the country’s strategic importance would inoculate it from U.S. criticism. At the same time, Turkey’s growing instability is imperiling American operations. During the failed coup, Incirlik’s external power was cut off for a week, halting anti-isis operations from the air base for several days, limiting them for several more, and increasing the loads on other regional bases. This is unacceptable. The best solution would be to build a new airfield in Iraq - specifically, in territory controlled by the Kurdistan Regional Government. The United States should immediately begin discussions with Baghdad and Irbil. Existing bases in Jordan and Cyprus both offer suitable airfields located on the territory of allied governments and within striking distance of isis. (Source: DefenseOne)
2016/10 Is Russia pulling Turkey away from the West? A binational meeting was held in Moscow Oct. 2, bringing together Tunc - an adviser of Gokcek, the mayor of Ankara and a strong supporter of President Erdogan - and Dugin, a “special representative” of President Putin. In the meeting, Dugin made the sensational claim that he himself helped save Turkey from the military coup by informing Turkish authorities about some “unusual activity” in the military July 14, a day before the coup attempt. He also claimed that the coup plot took place “because Erdogan had begun to turn toward Russia.” Since the failed coup attempt, Dugin’s call to Turkey has been played up in the Russian media as well. Pro-Kremlin websites fabricated two fake news stories in September showing that the United States was behind the plot. One of them was a phony article supposedly written by a retired US ambassador depicting the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul - a theological rival to the Russian church — as a “CIA Trojan horse” that helped organize the coup. The other was another phony article supposedly written by Brzezinski blaming the CIA for the “grave mistake” of organizing an unsuccessful putsch in Turkey. This Russian propaganda found strong echoes in Turkey. But Kurtulmus, a spokesman for the Turkish government, dismissed Dugin’s claim that Russia helped avert Turkey’s coup. Putin - who will visit Turkey next week - was also the first world leader to call Erdogan after the coup, a gesture that “meant a lot psychologically” to Erdogan. October 17, 2016 No, voter fraud isn’t a myth: cases where it’s all too real. Dead people voting in Colorado. Illegals found voting in Virginia; only discovered after they self-reported. A study by the watchdog Public Interest Legal Foundation found in just eight Virginia counties, 1,046 alien non-citizens successfully registered to vote. These aliens were only accidentally caught because when they renewed their driver’s license and self-reported, telling authorities they were a non-citizen. This study doesn’t even include the metropolises of Fairfax County and Arlington. Moreover, the FBI opened an investigation in the state after 20 dead people turned in applications to vote. More than 700 Pennsylvania voters might have cast two ballots in recent elections. Illegal voters uncovered in Philadelphia; half had previously voted. In September, the secretary of state’s office in Pennsylvania mailed about 2.5 million voter registration postcards to people who are not registered voters, but are licensed drivers. Secretary of State Cortes admitted to the House of Representatives that seven people had reported that they received voter registration cards in error, self-reporting. Nearly all of that money - more than 96 percent — has benefited Clinton: About 430 people who work in journalism have, through August, combined to give about $382,000 to the Democratic nominee, the Center for Public Integrity’s analysis indicates. About 50 identifiable journalists have combined to give about $14,000 to Trump. Supporters have long said mail-in balloting is crucial for overseas residents, the military and senior citizens. Critics maintain that such voting is ripe for abuse and raises concerns about “vote harvesting,” in which people could fill out and return other people’s ballots. At issue is how often people may assist others - or physically help by witnessing - with filling out applications for mail-in ballots or the ballots themselves. Anyone convicted of “ballot harvesting” faces a misdemeanor charge that could bring 30 days to one year in jail, as well as a fine of up to $4,000. He has repeatedly claimed without offering evidence that election fraud is a serious problem and encouraged his largely white supporters to "go and watch" polling places in certain areas to make sure things are "on the up and up." House Ryan, whose decision not to campaign for Trump angered the GOP nominee, made clear he does not share the candidate's concern about the election's legitimacy. There was trouble in Ohio, too, where Trump severed ties with the state's Republican Party chairman, Borges, who had become openly critical of the nominee at times. Oct 13, 2016 Trump will broaden his attack against the media to hit globalism and the Clinton Foundation by charging that Mexican billionaire Slim is part of a biased coalition working in collusion with the Clinton campaign and its supporters to generate news reports of decades-old allegations from several women. Mr. Trump is planning to claim that Mr. Slim, as a shareholder of New York Times Co. and donor to the Clinton Foundation, has an interest in helping Mrs. Clinton’s campaign. Attacking the Mexican billionaire would allow Mr. Trump to hit several targets. He could slam the “failing” New York Times, which he says had to be “rescued” by a “foreigner”- Mr. Slim. The Slim family held about 17% of the New York Times Class A shares as of March, making them the largest individual shareholder. 2016/10/13 Voter fraud is real. A Pew Research report from February 2012 shows: one in eight voter registrations are “significantly inaccurate or no longer valid.” Since there are 146 million Americans registered to vote, this translates to a stunning 18 million invalid voter registrations on the books. Further, “More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters, and approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.” Numbers of this scale obviously provide ripe opportunity for fraud. States can offer a service that will take people without valid ID to their local government office to apply for proper ID, free of charge. Users could schedule the pickup with their smartphone or a phone call. That way there will be as few barriers as possible to those who want to vote and are capable of obtaining a valid ID. 2016. X. 13. Október 14-16 között Hágában kezdődik a mezőgazdasági vegyi óriás Monsanto társadalmi felelősségre vonása emberiség ellen elkövetett bűncselekmények miatt. Vádolják még az emberi jogok megsértésével és ökocídiummal. A Monsanto Tribunal egy nemzetközi civil kezdeményezés. Ezzel egyidőben egy népgyűlés (Assembly) biztosítja a lehetőséget a társadalmi mozgalmaknak és az áldozatoknak, hogy elmondják véleményüket. A Monsanto a XX. század elejétől számos mérgező anyagot fejlesztett ki. A teljesség igénye nélkül az ismertebbek a következők: PCB (poliklórozott bifenil) tartósan megmaradó szerves szennyező (POP), amely hatással lehet az emberi és állati termékenységre. Nagyon mérgező a vízi szervezetekre; 2,4,5 T (2,4,5-triklór-ecetsav), a dioxin-tartalmú eleme a lombpusztító Agent Orange volt, melyet az amerikai hadsereg a vietnami háborúban vetett be, mely ma is érezteti hatását. Százezrek születtek születési rendellenességgel vagy okozott náluk rákot; Lasso gyomirtó, melyet Európában már betiltottak. RoundUp, a legszélesebb körben használt gyomirtó szer a világon, mely a modern történelem egyik legnagyobb egészségügyi és környezetvédelmi botrányát váltotta ki (pl. a méhek pusztulása); A Monsanto az emberi eredetű üvegházhatású gázok nagymértékű, globális kibocsátásért is felelős. Nagymértékben felelős a vízkészlet és talaj kimerüléséért, elősegíti a fajok pusztulását, részese a biológiai sokféleség csökkenésének és nem utolsó sorban világszerte több millió kistermelőt szorított ki földjeiről.
