The day of 23 October is national holiday in Hungary.
It commemorates the Revolution of 1956,
when Hungarians rose up against the Soviet ruled communist system.
In year 2006 parliamentary elections were held in April.
In election campaign Prime Minister Gyurcsány withheld information about the actual budget deficit.

a 'confidential' speech of PM, recorded on 26 May.
